(audio-EN) You thought you knew everything about receptors? You may learn a new concept with Terrence Kenakin
Montreal (QUEBEC) – Dr Terrence Kenakin, professor at the department of pharmacology at the University of North Carolina’s School of Medicine, explains how the concept of receptors has evolved over the last 10 years and the implications for drug discovery. It was the topic of a recent conference he gave at the NEOMED Institute. “For many years, says Terry in this interview, receptors have been viewed as virtually mono dimensional switches but in fact, they are computers that can take various signals in and process them out”.
